 AGC is proud to have partnered with Townsville City Council to deliver the $8 million Wellington Street Depot Upgrade. 

 Completed in February 2024, the project modernises and expands facilities for the dedicated Council staff who keep our city’s parks and gardens looking their best. It also provides new off-street parking for staff and the Mundingburra community.

 As Principal Contractor, AGC coordinated a wide range of local subcontractors across trades including joinery, painting, landscaping, mechanical and electrical services, and security. Despite challenges such as vacating existing facilities and resolving design conflicts, the project was kept on track through close collaboration with Council.

 Delivered on budget and to a high standard, the new Depot provides a functional, safe, and fit-for-purpose base for the teams who care for Townsville’s green spaces.
