Cleveland Bay, Townsville
Townsville City Council has commissioned AGC to deliver the Townsville Recycled Water Treatment Plant at the Cleveland Bay Purification Plant. This $31 million design and construct project, commenced in September 2022, is set for completion this year. Once operational, the facility will produce 15 megalitres of Class A recycled water per day, supporting Townsville’s reputation for sustainability while enabling further industrial development.

This project promises to be transformative for Northern Australia’s largest city, especially as it attracts more heavy industry to our region.
