Charters Towers Cadet Hangar

AGC is proud to have delivered a purpose-built Cadet Hangar at Charters Towers Airport, supporting the training and development of the Australian Air Force Cadets 108 Squadron and 102 Flight.

Completed in May 2022 under a $2.18 million contract, the facility includes administration and training spaces tailored to the needs of a regional cadet unit.

Despite weather delays and COVID-19 supply challenges, AGC worked closely with its trusted network of local subcontractors, holding weekly coordination meetings to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget.

AGC innovated to extend the building’s lifespan and improved energy efficiency by installing underfloor sheeting to protect insulation from vermin damage.
