Design and Construction of the Retail and Business Precinct. 2-storey blockwork with suspended concrete deck, lift and amenities. 1200m2 net lettable area. Feature artwork by local artists in the lobbies and on the external façade.
We employed 3 Palm Island apprentices through the project, bringing 2 of them to Townsville to continue their apprenticeships, and arranging for the 3rd to join a local Townsville plumber. The project has provided 1,800 apprentice work hours for an overall 10%.
